16 months old

Diella can identify & say a bear! She tries to 'hoo hoo' for an owl.... and she tries to do the motion of pulling a train whistle & say choo choo, but its more like chz chz... there are lots of new little things she's trying & recognizing, but its hard to remember them & record them right away.





These pix are 1. at the park with mommy :) 2. trying on my heels and coming out to model them to mom & Ahna... her Favorite thing to do! and 3. eatin berries... her absolute FAVORITE food in the world!

One of her new favorite things to do, her daddy taught her :) the two of them will sit in her room & play with blocks... she had become quite good at stacking them, keeping them balanced, and usually gets about 4 high until they fall... she now likes to stack anything she can!

Another thing is while I'm sitting right next to the window sill, she'll use my leg as a stool to get up onto the sill & then slowly and carefully stand up, and then slowly & carefully turn to face me... then give me a big smile... and DIVE into my arms! Its fun!

Today she was drawing with her left hand (she usually seems right handed, but no biggie either way)... I said "can you do draw with the other hand too?" ... so she used the pen in her left hand to draw on her right hand... it was cute... I MEANT draw WITH your right hand, not ON your right hand, silly!

And then the most hilarious thing she did out at dinner the other night... you've read how much she loves to put on jewelry... well while we were all enjoying our meals, we look over & Diella had found an onion from daddy's salad, like a slice, in a ring... well she had put it on her wrist like a bracelet! We laughed so hard!!! She wasnt even trying to be funny, just casually putting on her bling :) hehehe
