Sorry it's been a month since I've blogged. You would not even believe everything she's doing! She will pretty much say anything, copy it after you say it (one word things) but more than one syllable she struggles with, but I've been keeping as good of track as I can of all that she's saying, and I counted up all the things that she recognizes and tries to say, and its over 70! :) There are even more things that she can point out, but doesnt try to say... TONS! A few of them, I will have to explain, lil stories that go with.
Like when she tried to say icicle, 3 syllables came out & we were so excited! It sounds so cute when she tries to say it! Everytime we come home, she so very clearly says Home, well and sometimes its whenever we stop the car, no matter where we are, hehe

She's gotten ALL the body parts down! And says about half of them! She's learned So many new animals, like even hippo, girraffe, zebra, and lots of them she's saying their sounds as well! She says Good Girl, and her other 2 fave things to say are Uh OH & bye bye. And she says Hi to virtually everyone! Like in public places, in passing, its adorable! It usually catches people off guard, so I dunno if they're sure they're supposed to say it back, kinda like, 'did that little peanut just say hi to me?'

I have been working on the word Yes with her & she's got it so clear now, Yes! :) And we've also taught her to say scuse me if she burps or toots... it sounds like me me, but she's good at saying it when she should, and even sometimes when other people burp too, hehe... oh and when someone sneezes, she says it, hehe aw! like she's saying Bless You, but all she knows to say for it is scuse me, hehe

We discovered that her new favorite thing is to have her arms, legs, back, feet, hands, anything tickled. Not like to make her laugh, but like gentle fingers sliding along. Ahna taught her it, and now whoever she's with, she'll ask them to tickle her, she'll stick out her legs & touch them & say 'tka-tka-tka" so then when we start tickling, she'll go through each body part. She'll say leg, stick out one leg & then the other, and then say Arm, as we do her arms, and then back & so on, its cute!

Appee has finally turned to Apple! And Nana has finally turned to Ahna! And when we comes out from somewhere, instead of Boo, she says Bee! hehe cute!

Yesterday, first thing she said when I came to her in the morning, she patted her butt & said poop. I said you pooped? she nodded, so I changed her diaper, no poop... so I gave her her morning milk & then took her straight to the potty. She only sat for a minute or two & she pooped!!!! Yay! second time! but its been a month since she did last! Go Diella!

I have this picture of Aria & Diella hugging from a few weeks ago, as the wallpaper of my computer, Diella points to it the other day, and clearly says Aria Hug! It was awesome! Put two words together!

She did the funniest thing I have ever seen last week! Ahna was cutting the boys hair, so she was using this spray water bottle, well Diella got a hold of it & I took it from her... when she whined about that, I gently sprayed a mist on her, to 'show her what she was missing'... but to my surprise, she laughed like crazy, so I did it a few more times, and she still thought it was hilarious, even tho there was now a light dew on her head! So I figured what the heck & handed her the bottle... so she sprayed herself directly in the face! We were laughing hysterically, as was she... so she did it over & over & over until she was Dripping wet, as tho she just got out of a pool! We are gonna try this again next time we have the video camera out!

Whenever she sits in this little rocking chair, or on the rocking horse, Ahna will rock her & sing this lil tune and the words "Rockabye, Rockabye, Rockabye Baby" ... Diella LOVES it and now everytime she goes up to those chairs, she sings Baaaybeee, Baaaybee. SO adorable!

Oh and I almost forgot to add this crazy story that happened to us yesterday! I took her to the park & we were the only two there, until this big fluffy orange Colton-sized cat trots up to us. Slightly hesitant, I bent down to pet it, cautious but friendly and it rubbed right up against us & had a collar & was soft and taken care of, so def a house kitty.... so we make friends with him & he walks away, of course Diella still wants to pet him, so a few mins later we catch up with him & the two of them are about 8 ft away from me, and she goes to pet him & he rubbed up against her once, & then again, and on second time he knocked her over, she's whined (I think mostly cuz ground was wet & she got dirty) but once she was on the ground the cat Leapt onto her back! I mean all fours, right on top of her! and kinda rolled... I took two aggresive steps toward him & he ran off a ways... but I could tell it wasnt an angry thing cuz there was no meowing, no hissing, no claws, no biting... but it still freaked her out, and honestly me a little too... she only cried for a half a minute, then we continued to play... about 5-10 mins later (the cat has been not far off, on its own from then on)... she spotted him & asked for him again, so I bent down & called him over & he RAN toward us... so i put her behind me to be safe, and again he jus came over for some love.... Strange! So that was an interesting thing for us yesterday!

Played in the snow, two days in a row, she liked it! Poor girl waddles around with all those layers on, but we mostly just pulled her on the sled. The second day she ate snow once or twice, and also went down on the slide! I, myself, hate snow, but taking her out in it makes it not as bad :) Oh yea, and thats the snowsuit I wore when I was that size!! Eeee! Love that! Beautiful snow bunny Diella!
