Long, but Worth it, I Think! :)

Ok, SO Many new things again, so I will try to give the short version of everything... She is saying all kinds of new words, and I think I maybe figured out why... I really think she sometimes gets frustrated that she feels she cant get her point across when she says something I dont understand... so she's trying extra hard to learn new words & TALK to me :) and still... most of the words arent clear, but we know whats she's saying and she's at least TRYing! :) ... she says off (more like aww)... she says hello when she puts the phone to her ear, but its more like 'hao' .... she's says 'uh oh' once or twice... she says please, like pease... but we're so glad cuz she's SAYing some of the words she's signing & not just depending on the Signs, but using her words, yay! ... she says 'night night' like ni ni to everyone when its time for bed... she still LOVES to say bye bye :) ... and she's saying no :) I'm glad cuz its not an angry No, its usually after I say no no to her touching something or doing something she shouldn't, then she'll repeat no no :) and she says pretty, kinda like pe-te :)

She has a new tooth :) ... she says buh bye to the water as it goes down the drain, after a bath :) ... she's feeding herself much more often (which of course is cuz i'm finally letting her, hehe) ... and she used to nod yes to every question, but now she is starting to answer yes and no more accordingly! :)

I showed her how to click clack your mouth to immitate a clock, she tried it & is close! its cute! :) ... I ask her if she'll touch noses with me & we do, I love that! :) ... When she sees herself in a mirror or in a picture, we ask her who that is & I've taught her to point to herself say 'me' :) ... she knows how to blow! Like on hot food, or to blow a pinwheel! I thot that was hard to do for her age? but she can! :) ... we've got her to put her finger up to her mouth & say Shhh, I'm so glad for this! Hopefully she'll understand when she needs to shush! :) ... she does this new wave, like instead of her hand opening & closing to wave hello or bye, its like an open hand & rotates the wrist, it maybe sounds like no big deal, but you should see how cute it looks! :) ... and i've learned that when we ask her where something is (like in the room, or on the page of a book we're looking at) that she opens her hand & holds it up like 'I dunno' but that she's doing that cuz we're asking where? But when we say Point To The ___, then she does! so its not that she doesnt know, its that we asked, instead of told her to identify it :) funny girl

Ok, bear with me, I have a lotta cute little stories to tell (and i'm saving the best ones for the end, so ya gotta read em all ;) ... this morning, I laid my head on her lap & thought it was so cute & special, and but a moment later, she sneezes, right on the side of my face, lol

She loves to find my belly button, or hers... its funny, she lifts the shirt & sticks her finger in, sigh* ... oh and she loves to watch her own tummy as she sucks it in over & over, THAT is funny to watch!

She LOVES to walk over to Alethea's house... we were outside on the deck and she just started walkin over on her own, kina like "are you coming?" ... sigh* I swear someday she's gonna disappear & we'll find her over there... and she's also become obsessed with going outside... she has this word for outside thats kinda like 'dap-de' or dif versions of that & she points out, across her face, BEGging me to go outside... only bad thing is, she gets REALLY 'disappointed' when we cant go out right now... and when we're talking about outside, we hafta spell it, or she'll be determined to go out that very minute

Oh my gosh, the other day in the bath, she was messing with the knob that swtiches the water from the faucet to the overhead shower, then when she finally pulled it & the water came from the top, she would whine like 'eeeehhhh I dont like that!' .... so I'd try not to laugh & tell and show her how to push it back down to make it go back to the faucet, so she finally did.... but then pulled it up again & the water comes down & again & she whines... lol over & over we went, she didnt catch on, hahaha!

The other night, this little one was calming down for bedtime & sat on my lap with her box of Alphabooks (1 book for each letter, 3 pages each book, with a picture & its word on each page) and we went through every page, every book! She just absorbed Every Picture & word! That was great!

She plays this game when we're in Ahna & Papa's bedroom, she just made it up all on her own, as she's standing on their bed, she'll go like "uuuuu-UUUUUH" like gradually gets louder, as she flops face down into pillow! So funny! Did it on her own, no one showed her, so funny!

Alethea & Caeden go to the library every Wednesday & they took us with them this week! This woman, Ms. Kitty, reads them books & sings songs & shows them a lil 5 minute video & gives them a snack & then they colored a picture! Was great! We're gonna go regularly now! Diella was pretty good for most of it, Alethea said she did very well for her age (there were lots of different ages in there)

And the BEST Story!... Diella did this in the bath a week or two ago, and I laughed so hard & then gave it a name, so that I could ask her to do it again, on command... she bends her knees & then moves them in & out... I call it the Hokey Pokey, cuz its sorta like that, and now she does it on command 'do the Hokey Pokey!' & we show people this all the time & she just gets the biggest laughs! Its funny Every time! I got it on my camera phone, but will try to get it on the video camera soon & maybe even on here! It is CLASSIC!
